Recreational fires are still allowed. A recreational fire may not be more than 2-feet in diameter, located within a six-foot diameter clear area. A recreational fire does not require a permit. Fall is here! If you have a fireplace, make sure that it's been inspected by a qualified chimney sweep. Propane heaters need to be checked to be sure that they are properly vented to the exterior. Don't forget to check your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors!
